Decoy Locket: Secured. Locket Transfiguration: Completed.
Hopefully it is, in fact, supposed to look like Slytherin's locket. Kreacher described it as being ornate and having an S on it. A Founder's locket is an important thing (though I do not think I wish to know how he acquired it), and researching historical artifacts all morning found that Slytherin did have a locket, at least. The photographic depictions matched reasonably with the description...and although I would prefer for the disguise to be accurate without the shadow of a doubt, I suppose that is the best that can be done given time constraints. From what Kreacher saw in the cave, he seems to think it looks right, so that is enough for me.
